Music is one of the few things in existence that can change a person without physical contact.  It can express every emotion and convey the effects of that emotion without words.  It can bring together people on different continents for a common cause.  For these reasons every gift of music bestowed on an individual has the potential to change the world.  As such those who possess it are duty bound to share it. Michael Henry Music and MHM Media are the vessels by which we seek to deliver our brand of real, honest, grassroots music.

Our commitment to real, honest, grassroots music means we have to keep things as “in house,” as possible.  We compose, arrange, perform and distribute all of our music.  We handle our own marketing and promotion, social media and web presence.  This allows us to maintain creative control so that we can stay true to the sound that brought our fans to us in the first place. And in all fairness, that’s how we prefer it

Born from the same land and cultural pocket that has produced such greats as Townes Van Zandt, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Leon Bridges, Michael Henry Music is a prime example of what the past greats have done to inspire today’s newcomers. With a mix of Rock, Blues and Gospel infused with homegrown Texas Country we have found, what we believe, is the next evolutionary step in real, honest, grassroots music.
